Jamie Gatewood, BSN, RN, CANS
Aesthetic Nurse Injector
A California native, Jamie obtained her first Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and then her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles. She began her nursing career in the hospital setting on general and neurosurgical medical-surgical units. Jamie graduated from the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Program from Emory University. This specialization in wound management sparked her interest in skin.
Upon discovering her passion for the cosmetic field, Jamie became a nurse injector of neuromodulators and dermal fillers. Her specialty is in non-surgical facial rejuvenation. She believes in performing treatments to enhance natural beauty and improve facial balance. Jamie is a Board-Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS). There are approximately 400 nurses in the United States who currently have their CANS certification. In addition, she is an active member of the Clinical Practice Committee of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends . She is also studying to become a nurse.
